I am currently a lecturer in the Department of World Languages & Literatures at Sacramento State University, where I teach French and Japanese courses.  I also teach French at Napa Valley College, and started their inaugeral Japanese program in 2015.  I received my Ph.D. in French from UC Davis in 2011, with designated emphasis in Second Language Acquisition.  I also hold a Masters Degree in Japanese from San Francisco State University.  I just published The e-notated The Third Youth of Madame Plum by Pierre Loti, an e-book available for all formats.  You can order the book through your favorite online seller.
